until September anyway!
We decided to post-phone our trip. The closer and closer it got the more and more nervous I got about traveling 12 hours with a 5 week old who does NOT like his car seat NOR does he like a bottle. Yeah, that would have been interesting. So, we are going to go in September. When he is HOPEFULLY sleeping through the night and maybe he'll like his car seat more by then. And he'll be in daycare 2 days a week so he won't have a choice about taking a bottle!
That bottle thing is proving to be interesting. He'll take it, but he only nibbles. Then when I am around he is rooting around on me like crazy. DS1 never did this, so this is new territory to me. It's odd. But I kinda like it. ;)
I have an NSV to report....today for the first time in what seems like forever....I am in REAL PANTS. NOT maternity capris...REAL capris!!! They are kinda snug, but I can function in them so WOO HOO!!! I'm embarassed about the size (16), but oh well. I keep telling myself...you just had a baby...give yourself a break. So I am trying. I'm TRYING to get back on the bandwagon. Baby steps. This week I have NOT had fast food at all. This is HUGE for me!!! I've had fast food at least once a week for a loooooong time. Believe me, I was tempted. But I did NOT cave! I've been drinking plenty of water...kinda have to keep up the milk. I'm working on the fruits and veggies too. Trying to get in 4 of EACH every day. That's hard, but I am trying. Maybe next week, I'll get some exercise in. Woo!
That's all I have to report for now. I'm such a bad blogger, but I just don't have time some days! ;)

I hope the bottle thing gets better, I have a gf that has the same issue with her newborn. It definetly makes a tighter bond though.
